About the Role
To support our future growth and innovation we are looking to recruit a Senior Research Manager. The successful candidate must have relevant agency experience and be genuinely engaged and passionate about the changing business world in the 21st Century.

You must have a deep understanding of the research process and excellent project management skills. You will be managing and designing quantitative and qualitative research projects in our core benchmarking business as well as applying the findings in our consultancy and analytical projects. The work will also involve working with third parties to develop advanced analysis of performance so you will be working closely with our senior consultants and the analytics team.
Duties
Day-to-day management of all aspects of research projects: writing first drafts of research materials: designing questionnaires, tab specs, code-frames, fieldwork agency briefings
Working with Directors and clients to ensure projects are on time and delivered to high standards
Data analysis, presentation preparation and report writing (quant and qual)
Assessing and managing resource (internal and external) requirements for projects
Building out the research team as appropriate
Running focus groups and conducting in-depth interviews
Business development – work on new business proposals with the Directors, input ideas for new areas to expand business
Requirements
Strong project management skills: confident in running projects with minimal supervision
Excellent communication skills: both written and verbal
Strong experience and skills in b-to-b quantitative and qualitative methodologies
Perceptive analysis skills: ability to create hypotheses, find the story in the data and evaluate how this can translate into improved business performance

Ability to manage and plan work load effectively
Good knowledge and a proficient user of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Experience of SPSS and qualitative research software such as NVivo is desirable but not necessary
