At this year's London Market Claims Conference, we presented the interim results of our Risk & Insurance Managers study which sought their opinion on the quality of claims service among Insurers in the London Market.
Key findings include:
#1 Just one in ten risk managers have a high level of trust in London Market insurers
#2 An insurer’s claims proposition has a strong influence on the choice of insurer
#3 Communication, efficiency and working in partnership lead to great claims service
There was a huge amount of interest and discussion around the research during the conference and it highlighted the need to understand risk manager perceptions of claims service which can often be overlooked in a broked market.
We will be extending the scope and coverage of this study into 2014 to compliment our London Market benchmarking studies which we currently conduct with claims and producing brokers.
