Beazley has topped the overall “bench strength” ranking in this year’s Gracechurch London’s Leading Underwriter report, having received more underwriter nominations than any other company.
The carrier held off the challenge of Chubb and Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM) in second and third place respectively.
Ascot and Chaucer made up the top five, while Munich Re and Aegis featured in the top 10 of the ranking for the first time.
LSM received the highest number of nominations in the women’s ranking, with two underwriters – Meghan Walker and Amanda Burnell – featuring in the top 10 highest ranked female underwriters.
